Basic Youth Ministry Training

Basic Youth Ministry Training (BYMT) is a training programme by Scripture Union Singapore that equips youth leaders, volunteers, and ministry workers to disciple young people with confidence and biblical conviction. Through practical teaching and ministry-focused training, participants gain a deeper understanding of youth ministry, effective discipleship, and engaging young people with God's Word. BYMT is ideal for anyone seeking to grow in serving and mentoring the next generation.

Working Adults: $150/- | Fulltime Students: $80/-

Modules & Details

Module 1. Biblical Worldview and Current Trends

Stay attuned to the pulse of youth culture and highlight how vibrant youth fellowship can ignite a strong Biblical worldview.

Module 2. Youth Mentoring

Discover the essence of mentoring young people and how to build lasting, trusting relationships that encourage them to grow deeper in their love for Jesus.

Module 3. Group Facilitation

Gain the skills to effectively facilitate a group by understanding group dynamics and learning how to ask questions that draw out the best responses from youths.

Module 4. Christian education

Understand the needs of young people and the process of developing a theme and curriculum for the youth ministry,

while ensuring alignment with the church’s overall theme.
